Bringing about a regenerative and circular economy. That was the topic of discussion at the 15th Green & Blue Building Forum hosted by Ghezzo GmbH on November 21, 2024, in Vienna, where W.CREATE's managing director Vanessa Vivian Wabitsch was invited to join other experts in discussing the current state of taxonomy and circularity in building materials and technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei der Podiumsrunde haben Erich Benischek (Blaue Lagune), Thomas Glanzer (Aluk\u00f6nig Stahl GmbH), Elmar Hagmann (Sedlak Bau), Markus Diesenberger (GF Piping Systems) und Vanessa Vivian Wabitsch (W.CREATE) Erfahrungen aus der Praxis mit nachhaltigen Baustoffen und Technologien geteilt. Obwohl die Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Bereichen des Bauens kommen, war Einigkeit dar\u00fcber, dass f\u00fcr zirkul\u00e4res Bauen fr\u00fchzeitige Planung und Einbeziehung aller Akteure essentiell ist. Au\u00dferdem ist die Diversit\u00e4t der Baustoffe sowie die lokale Beschaffung wichtig, um ressourceneffiziente Geb\u00e4ude zu entwickeln und resilient zu sein \u2013 wirtschaftlich und politisch.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This shows that only a combination of technologies and personal qualities such as planning, holistic thinking, and communication makes it possible to implement circular economy and projects\u2014even in a technical industry such as construction.
